Carols by Candlelight: A Night of Christmas Magic

Friday evening brought pure joy when the Maitland Musical Society led a spectacular Carols by Candlelight event. Residents, staff and families joined together in community singing, creating moments of genuine Christmas togetherness under flickering candlelight.

A Day to Remember

Our residents experienced a truly inspiring day thanks to an incredible team effort. From care staff and cleaners to our catering crew and maintenance team, everyone contributed to creating something remarkable. Special recognition goes to our exceptional chef Vincent and his team, who crafted an unforgettable lunch experience that delighted everyone.

Creative Highlights

The Wallsend Manor Choir delivered their first public performance, showcasing the courage and talent of our residents. Innovation shone through with the launch of "Flood'n'Drought" Station—a comedy radio serial written entirely by Wallsend Manor residents, with episodes one and two capturing our community's wit and storytelling ability.

Festive Spirit

Evening Christmas Lights Trips gave residents the chance to experience the twinkling wonder of the season, whilst our Lifestyle team transformed Wallsend Manor into a Christmas wonderland with their signature creativity.
