Anyone can nominate — and you can nominate an individual, a team, or an entire organisation across 15 award categories. If someone has made a difference to your life or the life of someone you love, we want to hear about it and celebrate it.

What are the You Are ACE! Awards?
The Ageing Australia You Are ACE! Awards are Australia’s leading national recognition program for aged care, retirement living and seniors housing. Winners are announced publicly on Aged Care Employee Day, 7 August 2026, with national media coverage and spotlight features for recipients.
How to nominate — it is simple
Think of someone ACE
Think about the person who goes above and beyond — who makes residents feel seen, safe, and valued. It could be the nurse who always has a kind word, the chef who remembers everyone’s favourites, or the maintenance worker who fixes things before anyone asks.
Fill in a nomination form
Pick up a nomination postcard from reception, ask a staff member for help, or submit online. All you need is your nominee’s name, their role, and a short story about why they are ACE. A few genuine sentences is all it takes.
Hand it in by 20 June
Return your completed card to reception or to any staff member. Our team will collect all of the nominations to submit to Ageing Australia before the national deadline of 30 June 2026.
